4.0 out of 5 stars Still going strong after 3 Christmas'!!!
It looks cheap. You immediately think the straps to carry your tree are going to tear off. Nothing could be farther from the truth! I have a 7' artificial tree that breaks down in sections. ALL of it fits. I've carried the tree up and down our stairs for 3 Christmas seasons, and the bag is still tear free! It's great at keeping out the spiders, dust, etc - and MUCH...

2.0 out of 5 stars Tree Storage Bag
You get what you pay for on this one. The bag tears pretty easily because the material used to make it is one step above trash bag plastic. The only saving grace for this product is it's massive capacity. Holds a 7 footer no problem. Just make sure you keep the metal from the tree away from the bag edges or else its ripsville.

It's great at keeping out the spiders, dust, etc - and MUCH easier to manage than the original box for the tree.

Couldn't be happier on picking this up years ago!

This bag has plenty of room for large trees and is really heavy duty. Smaller trees may even fit in it while they are still assembled. It is a great product.

This is a very durable bag, the handles are re-enforced and its big enough for at least a 9 foot tree with ample width.

Great bag for storing holiday trees! Plenty of room to store your tree and then some! Also a great bag for storing other lawn decos to keep them clean and easy to transport until next December.

The price has dropped somewhat since I purchased these about a month ago, to $2.49. There is no super saver shipping with this item through the current vendor, but considering the price, the shipping at about $7 is not too bad, especially since I decided to buy two, which didn't cost substantially much more shipping than one. These bags are huge, and my tree is 7 and 1/2 feet tall with prestrung lights. I'm sure that the entire tree would have fit into one bag. However, I'm not capable of moving one of these bags with a 45 to 50 pound tree in it. That's why I split the tree into two bags, wrapping the metal trunks in old socks held on with rubber bands, to be sure they don't puncture the bag from the inside. Besides, two bags are easier to store in my closet. The plastic is deceptively strong because it appears to be not too much better than trash bags, but I did bump the bag into corners, and it didn't rip. The handles are long and cross stitched at the ends, which will help keep them from tearing. As a result, I did actually could put the handles over my shoulder and lift the bag.

Like other reviews have noted, it's only 3 bucks and it works. And the plastic is thicker than a plastic garbage bag, but sure it's a bit flimsy. Having said that, it took my 6 foot tree, without a glitch, and with lots of room to spare. If anything, it's a bit too big, but again, for 3 bucks, who's complaining? Oh, and the seller must have read the reviews about slow shipping - mine was shipped the day after I ordered it, and arrived 24 hours after that via DHL. I was rather pleasantly surprised. My tree is now put away for a year, the bag didn't rip, I think I got my 3 dollars' worth :-)

2.0 out of 5 stars Just a big green bag, March 27, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Snow Joe 098 56-by-28-1/2-Inch Artificial Tree Storage Bag (Lawn & Patio)
I bought this thinking it was a great deal, but it wasnt. It is just a big green plastic bag. You cannot see through it, so its pretty useless for storage of multiple items. The plastic is not really thick, sure its not saran-wrap, but its not even as thick as duct tape. It opens from the Side, so getting things in and out of it is pretty annoying. In general, it does the job, but its nothing spectacular.

Sturdy, yet lightweight. Easier than storing an artifical tree in a box. Able to move into smaller spaces.
