Incredibly Appealing Book,
By Strebel (Canastota, New York United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Snow Angel (Hardcover)
A beautiful book with a touching ending. The illustrations are striking with embossed, glittery surfaces that beg to be touched. The ending is heartwarming emphasizing giving and love. This book is bound to appeal to both children and adults.

Amazing book for kids,
This review is from: The Snow Angel (Hardcover)
It's a simple story about 2 children (the mice) who decide to help a sick angel (the goose). The sweetness of the mice and the angel is so touching. My daughters (pre-school and 2nd grade) will sit mesmorized by the pictures because Jane Chapman outdid herself again with amazing art. The glitter perfectly accents the feathers and adds to the magical feel of the story. Truly a fantastic and sweet story for reading to children.

Cute Christmas book,

This review is from: The Snow Angel (CD & Paperback) (Audio CD)
In this wintery Christmas story, two little mice see a white goose fall into a snowbank and mistake it for an angel. They feed and care for the "angel" until it is strong enough to fly away. The bird's bright white feathers sparkle throughout the book, and it leaves a gift for the mice when it departs. A sweet picture book for preschoolers.
