If you like traditional christmas music with both secular and religous lyrics and very smooth sounds that you don't tire of easily...the 'Snow Angels' CD sampler is for you.I love the mix of artists and some shine doing 'cover christmas tunes' over theirown written material. Call it 'content counts' but their interpretations on HOW to do the songs is my favorite part. Whether doing a stirring acepella rendition or using a steel guitar to add flavor to the originals...I not only haven't found a track I don't like, but I crave hearing the CD sampler every year for the last five years, and for me that is EXTREMELY RARE for ANY album. to each his own but this CD ROCKS in a Folk sort of way that caught me off guardand fostered my new interst and enjoyment of folk/country/gospel/rock that I had not had before.

Traditional Christmas music in a modern setting,

When I first heard this recording on tape a few years ago, I fell in love with it. It's completely different from Mannheim Steamroller, which I also love, but I play it just as much. If you like folk music, spirituals, jazz - it has everything. I'm ordering five this year for gifts!
