5.0 out of 5 stars A very good movie
I want to tell you that I now own both Snow and Snow 2{Brain Freeze} and have watched them several times. I think that it is a very good movie for the whole family and am very happy that I own them. I am disabled and all I do is watch movies and try to rate them in my movie book. I have about 15,000 movies now and yes that is a lot but I do enjoy each and every one. You...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the first one
Like Snow, Snow 2: Brain Freeze is a cute Christmas movie. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite recapture the magic of the first. Santa, a.k.a. Nick Snowden (Tom Cavanagh) loses his memory. This takes some of the charm and goofiness from his original character. Also, there are a few other changes for the worse. Hector, the wisecracking sidekick is MIA in this film. Also, Sandy...

4.0 out of 5 stars Pity if it really is presented at 1.33:1, October 15, 2009

A fun sequel to "Snow" it actually reunites all the major characters from the first film and is great holiday viewing. Tom Cavanagh is charming as always (sort of as if "Ed" were Santa) and it's wonderful to see Ashley Williams again.

However, it's a pity if it's really 1:33.1 as described as it aired on ABC Family not only in 1.78:1 but also in HD; it would be a shame if DVD viewers get the sides of the frame chopped off.

It is truely funny and laughs galore for the family, though I caution about very young children, its always nice to see a cast comeback together for a secqual.

This is my daughter's 2nd favorite Christmas movie. She watches it on T.V. every year, and could never find it on a DVD. Now she can watch it commercial free!!! She loves it!!! Mom's the BEST again!

This takes some of the charm and goofiness from his original character. Also, there are a few other changes for the worse. Hector, the wisecracking sidekick is MIA in this film. Also, Sandy changed her hair color, which was just odd (I thought she looked better blond). Snow 2: Brain Freeze really only takes off late into the film. It gets better near the end, but by then it's too late. It's still decent, but fans of Snow are likely to be a bit disappointed.
