5.0 out of 5 stars Snow Review
This book is trance inducing in a totally different way than any book I've ever read. It isn't just a story about rave culture, it actually IS trance. It's hard to explain - reading it is sort of like having a dream, or experiencing an altered state without drugs. It's incredibly cool, and kind of bizarre.

Dang, this book is S-L-O-W.

I have not finished this book, so some may say that I am not 'qualified' to review it, and on some levels I agree.

However, let it be known, this book is NOT a page turner!

If you have some cash to spare, get the book, if your on a budget, purchase at a later time!

Hey, this is a pretty insane book. The images are so intense they left me literally in a daze. Absolutely the best choice for anyone interested in rave culture ART, rather than the usual pop fiction or "drugumentary" fare.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't want it to end, August 31, 2005

I'm reading this one slowly, more slowly as I near the end--chanced upon this book, bought it in spite of "Rave culture" dance pop stuff which was pretty silly for cover remarks or reviews. This is poetry. What writing. Almost pointless story, if it can be called a story, but this book exists on a level that is haunting and compelling just for its beautiful descriptions and analogies. I looked it up because I wanted more by this guy--don't see any other books at this point by him, but will be on the lookout. Pure magic.
