I'm in such awe of this amazing new talent and am in complete agreement with all of the comments made herein as well as those from other reviewers! The only complaint about this book that I have is that there hasn't been MAJOR promotion for it as it certainly deserves. First of all, this gyr falcon, as well as each character in this book, are soooooo REAL that you can actually FEEL their emotions and thoughts in every word of this phenomenal masterpiece. I can only hope that Mr. Harrison has another book on the way to us asap and that he has since changed agents so that he can get better publicity for his next book! Thank you, Mr. Harrison, for such a creative, beautiful story and one that will last in my mind for many years to come! While I was reading this book, everytime I had to put it down, I thought to myself....I just LOVE this book soooooo much! It's just such an amazing reading experience! I truly didn't want this one ever to end! It's simply breathtaking!

Does your soul need an uplift? Do I have the book for you!. The Snow Falcon is a soaring adventure bursting with spirit. Just what the doctor ordered, this enchanting tale, whose author's command of language is sensuously poetic, reminds the reader of life's important lessons (e.g., love, relationships and redemption), lessons that will pleasantly linger in the minds of readers long after the last pages are turned.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. I LOVED THE DESCRIPTION OF THE FALCON AND ITS RELATION TO MAN. I ALSO LOVED THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MICHAEL SOMERS AND JAMIE AND FINALLY MICHAEL AND JAMIE'S MOTHER. HARRISON WRITES BEAUTIFULLY. MY ONLY REGRET WAS THAT THIS BOOK WASN'T PROMOTED AS MUCH AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE SEEN IT PROMOTED FOR IT WERE, IT WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE MADE THE BEST SELLER'S LIST.

This should have been promoted more because it would have made the bestseller list for sure. A wonderful story and I recommend it to anyone, animal lover or not! You will find it truly enjoyable!

Every now and then a book you have not heard much about comes into your hands and just surprises you with a flavor of excitement and the romance of nature and life. This author shows us how a man can structure his life around and with nature, in a world that is not always friendly.

I became obsorbed with this book on the first page, and my interest stayed until the last page. I felt like I was there training the Falcon. My heart raced at the thougth of her being released. Each time she came back I felt a rush of excitment. I could feel her sitting on my own wrist. A great read for everyone. Can't wait for Stuart's next novel.

Snow Falcon is a book that you can read at speed, not taxing that is for sure,,..but you still had that urge to keep reading. I enjoyed it a light read with some romance recommend it for air travel or just when wanting to pamper yourself.

The best book i have read in ages it is truly one of my all time favourites. The love story was great but the story of the Falcon was really absorbing, like i was the falcon seeing it all through the Falcons eyes, would recomended this book to any one.

When I was through reading this book I could hardly believe that it is Harrison' s first novel. He has a way of writing that simply captures a reader.

This book is well written. The prose allows you to experience the emotions of the chrcaters, including the falcon.

The book starts when Michael Somers returns to his hometown in northern British Columbia after many years absence he is shunned by the community. Alone and the subject of malicious gossip he attempts to come to terms with the traumatic events of his past.

As well as being a story of redemption, this is a dramatic tale of love, jealousy and insecurity in the pressure cooker of a tight knit community where emotions build to an explosive climax.
