britpop lives and evolves, April 20, 2000

this band is on the brink of exploding i reckon and have generated an enormous amount of buzz throughout the uk. frontman/songwriter mark greaney has mastered the broody falsetto whine of a future rock icon and his melodies are sublime. this, their second single off their upcoming lakota release is a bit harder than their first 'october swimmer.' be sure to listen to the b-track 'willow,' a particularly brilliant and heartwrenching ballad.
