"Snow in June" is suprising..., September 4, 2010

Little Black Dress really surprised me. I have really never heard anything like "Snow in June." Little Black Dress truly possess an original sound. Unfortunately, the shoegaze anthems of Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine are all but obsolete in Pop Culture. Thankfully, this band lists those Dream Pop heroes as their inspiration, and it shows! Each track offers something fresh, simple, and honest for the listener. My favorite tracks include, "Robin," "Snow in June," "No Hope," "End Film," and "Simple Kind." But collectively, the album, "Snow in June," is brilliant, and I hope "Little Black Dress" won't try on a new style, but simply continue with there already dreamy sound.
