I just bought this for my niece and she hasn't been able to put it down. I don't know if it's the amazing illustrations, or the eloquently written story, but whatever the case, I can't wait to see what the author is doing next!

Some of the most beautiful, magical nights occur in winter when the snow sparkles under a clear sky. This book captures the magic and mystery of winter nights in this wilderness journey where a little boy follows an owl out under the moon. The spare, carefully chosen text only enhances the gorgeous, blue toned illustrations of sugary snow, towering mountains, fog-filled valleys from aerial vistas, and of course, the snowy owls touching the moon with their wings.

1. The illustrations and font (hey, I like fonts!) in this book are absolutely magical.

2. The story is sweet, if a bit simple - a boy follows an owl and sees how the owls make snow by brushing their wings against the moon.

3. The story is pure poetry.

I would absolutely recommend this book for nearly anybody's library. You won't regret it.

Sadly, though, the book is too lyrical to make a "That's snow moon...!" joke. Oh well.

This book is so beautiful at every page that my son and daughter loved it but I did as well. We read this book every night!!

This is a great bedtime story. Any child will enjoy the beautiful illustrations and the amusing story line.

Nicholas Brunelle has created a masterpiece that can be shared by the entire family. I couldn't buy just one, I had to get four!
