Evocative Torch Song,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Snow (Remastered Version) (MP3 Download)
Harper's Bizarre with their somewhat frothy in a 60's kind of way style seems very out of place today, but their rendering of Randy Newman's "Snow" was a great torch song that evoked walking through empty parks full of drifts. The only other group that I've heard do this piece is Scotland's "Trashcan Sinatras." HB's musical arrangement is stunning, and works well with their soft tenor vocalizations.
