This gorgeous dark walnut salad bowl is surely the star in Snow River's lineup of wooden kitchenware products. It looks elegant holding a salad, side dish, or as a table centerpiece piled high with fruit and vegetables. The butcher-block construction is sturdy and the wide shape consistent from bowl to bowl--yet each bowl is made of small pieces of wood for a unique, handcrafted look. Don't get these bowls wet or they will crack; just wash with a damp cloth and then dry immediately. After the first five to six uses, brush on a coat of mineral oil. This is a terriffic bowl for many things, especially salads and cereal. Finely crafted. It's extremely sturdy and cleans-up easily. The depth and size of the bowl leaves lots of room to "shuffle" food around!
