Who doesn't love Toot & Puddle? This book talks about the two's desire to find the perfect gift for the other. The love the characters show each other gets to the root of what we want children to understand about giving. The art work is, as always, beautiful. I love these characters and this book gave the perfect holiday, sentimental feeling. Every toddler should have the chance to hear this book this holiday season.

A beautiful book with gorgeous pictures. Something to treasure forever and make a great addition to a collection.

Super addition to any Toot and Puddle collection! Illustrations are as charming as the text. Another homerun! Adults and children alike will enjoy this one.

This book finds Toot and Puddle longing for a blanket of snow, and also wrestling with the question of how to find the perfect Christmas gift for each other. They interact with the nature of true friendship and giving as they struggle to find gifts that fit with the uniqueness that each friend cherishes in the other. Toot comments that "the best present was usually something you made yourself, a one-of-a-kind thingamajig, not just a whatsit anyone could buy in a store."

As with the other books in the series, the illustrations truly "make" this book. Beautiful landscapes of a New England winter contrast with the lovely homey fireplace glow of the indoor scenes. Each picture interacts wonderfully with the text, providing context and detail.

This story makes a delightful read-aloud. Celebrate the joys of giving and of appreciating the uniqueness in oneself and others through the story of these charming pigs.

The story and illustrations are so endearing! Both my son (5) and daughter (2) love this book. I like to give these as gifts too!

My niece and nephew love Toot and Puddle. This was a nice X-mas gift for them.

We fell in love with the series of Toot & Puddle books this past September, around our sons 2nd birthday. My husband, in particular, loves these stories - and he his hard to please as far as childrens books go. We first read them from the library and then went out and bought them - both new and used on Amazon. They are well worth the money and their adventures are enjoyable for both child and adult/reader.

Very, very cute! Holly Hobbie does such a great job on her Toot & Puddle books, we really enjoy them! Thanks!
