MTV Snowboarding is a refreshing change in the flooded market of snowboarding games available today. While perhaps not as technical as the CoolBoarders series, MTV Snowboarding's focus is on FUN! The riders are not portrayals of professional snowboarders, but their variety encompasses a wide range of boarding styles. On the other hand, the music IS real! Really good, that is. Appropriate tunes for snowboarding by some of the latest bands, including Blink 182. If you're looking for technicality, go with CoolBoarders, but if it's good times on the slopes with fresh tunes you want, go with MTV Snowboarding! Oh, and did I mention the heli-boarding Alaska stage!

Seriously this game is a disgrace! I played the game and thought it would control simulary to Tony Hawk Pro Skater. The game boards are horrible. I also thought that you would be able to play as REAL snowboarders. The only thing good about the game is the music. If you are looking for a good snowboard game get COOLBOARDERS 4.

Even though I prefer skiing over snowboarding in the real world, not many ski oriented video games are produced. This is a very playable game and it's the first playstation game I have come across, in the limited time I've used a playstation to use Top 40 music. MTV did a very good job in thinking out and constructing this game. It's not too difficult and even a novice like myself and my friends figured it out fairly quickly, and found it quite addicting. Definitly recommended, even if it's just for the intro scenes, which come across almost as well as a Warren Miller Movie.

I had read that it was better than the "Cool Boarders" series, but I disagree. The grabs are simply too easy to pull off, and there is'nt very much variety in the tricks. Although--if you can qualify, and do tha MTV challenge, that can provide some fun (easy fun, but fun), and then the Alaska course is good too. It's a nice change from the CB series, but about half as good, maybe.

This game is the best skatebording game I ever played.Its Great for kids who love skatebording and kids who love playstation.If you want a sports game for Christmas,this is the one.
