5.0 out of 5 stars Snowbound
This was an inspirational story, well acted and filmed! Their love for each other and for that beautiful little baby was extraordinary. With all the set backs, they still struggled forward. What a great example of perseverance and dedication to each other and to the problems at hand. Example of true love and the way to "get through" the troubles of our lives.

1.0 out of 5 stars Idiotic
This is one of the dumdest movies about one of the dumbest stories ever. If the main highway is closed due to snow you don't try to take a sideroad. Common sense is what this guy needs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely touching story, November 29, 1999
By
This review is from: Snowbound - The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is one of the most heartwarming tales of courage I've ever seen. I was touched by Jim and Jen's love for each other and their baby. I was horrified at what happened to Jim and Jen's feet (the only way you're gonna find out is to watch it, so go get your hands on this movie), but the movie seemed to be touched by magic. Since this is a true story, it makes the movie all the more heartwarming. I saw it on TV, but I can't wait to see it again....and again! If you haven't seen this movie, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

I thought this movie was very well made and very well cast. Kelli Williams was excellent as Jen and Neil Patrick Harris wasnt bad either. It's a very touching story and I'm glad I was able to see it.

4.0 out of 5 stars How I feel about this story, December 3, 2001
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Snowbound - The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Although it contained some things I would have prefered were left out, I find this to be a very touching, and inspiring story.
It really showed how when you put things in perspective, things tend to work out. I liked this story, because it shows that good things can come from bad situations if you just let it, and do what you can to make it work out for the best, even if it does mean giving something less important up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very touching!, April 12, 2000
This review is from: Snowbound - The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I simply love this movie! Coming from a country who neverexperiences Snow or snowstorms ( I am from the sunny Philippines! )the appeal of the movie lies on how the movie was able to prove once again, the universal power and miracle of love. Given any situation and difficult circumstance, it is definitely love that will see you through. I will forever remember the love Jen and Jim had for each other. Eversince I watched the movie, I have been captured by the magical song they used there as their theme song. I have been searching forever for that song. I thought that song was just perfect for the movie and that it only made the movie more touching and tear jerking. Definitely, the movie is another source of hope and inspiration for people to believe in love once more. Thanks for this movie!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! What an amazing movie. They went through so much!, August 31, 1999

Neil Patrick Harris and Susan Clark were extremely believable in the lead roles. If you don't know how the movie ends, then it can have you on the edge of your seat wondering will they ever get home. Sometimes, like when they realise they took the wrong fork in the road, you'd wonder are they going to make it back and did they find Jen's diary. Amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Committment, December 3, 2001

This review is from: Snowbound - The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In a world that is so focused on getting ahead and acquiring "things", I thought this movie did a great job of reminding us what really matters. It isn't what we have, it is the committment to family and the love and respect we show to one another. Jim and Jennifer experienced this in the deepest way! They were an incredibly mature couple. Yes, they made a mistake in judgement, but don't we all sometimes! They were fortunate to come out of it alive - but they gained what it takes a lot of us a lifetime to do. The movie did a great job of showing their values. I loved it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible. Simply Amazing., May 27, 2003

This review is from: Snowbound - The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is easily one of the best movies I've ever seen. I saw this video in class at school and loved it. Kelli Williams did a fantastic job and so did everyone else! I felt bad for them both cause they were young, hungry, had a baby with them all alone in the wild... ... it was actually kinda sad. I found myself time and time again wanting to reach through the screen and give them a cup of hot chocalote. Put simply, this movie is incredibly inspiring and will fill your eyes with tears and warm your heart.
