Not for the faint of heart...,

This is certainly an interesting piece of literature. If you have a weak stomach, or do not have a taste for the twisted and unusual, I would not recommend reading it. The book was actually written with his wife, Rose Edith Kelly, in mind. She had a love of erotica, so Crowley decided to write Snowdrops. Only, this is not your ordinary piece of erotica. It is actually one of the most disgusting things I've ever read. But, that makes it worth reading to me. No one has used language and idea in such a context that Crowley uses in this book. It may turn your stomach, but it is certainly worth reading. If for no other reason, to see what kind of bizarre things this brilliant man could write.

There is not a lot that i can say about this book here,as it is a collection of obscene & erotic prose & poetry. What i can say is that it is divided into 4 parts. The 1st,"The Nameless Novel" of 11 chapters;the 2nd,"Juvenilia",3 more pieces of erotica;the 3rd,"The Bromo Book",a collection of 12 poems(or "Parodies");and the 4th and last,6 Limericks and 15 Poems. If you buy this book, take note to the fact that even an author as Aleister Crowley was,he did not pen it under his name, probably due to the social conditioning of the times.
