My mother gave these to me this year for Christmas baking. I've been having a wonderful time making interesting snowflake cookies! I love having the interior cutouts and being able to make a variety of designs. I love these cookie cutters and will be making many more beautiful snowflakes! I have a little tip for using these (or any) cookie cutters. Instead of rolling out the dough, cutting out the shapes, and transferring them to the sheet (as I had been doing), roll out the dough on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and do all the cutting there. Then just remove the excess and your cookies are ready to bake! Lifting and moving snowflakes with a lot of shapes cut out of the middles could have been a disaster. This may be common knowledge, but I never knew about it and it surely saved my cookies!

These worked very well for the sugar cookies I made. They're a good size and the metal is strong and not flimsy. I like the handy storage tin too.

These are great cookie cutters. This was my first time using cookie cutters and I found it somewhat difficult, but if you are experienced you should be able to produce some nice, original cookies. Even though the cookies did not come out how I had envisioned them, they were still very pretty. The degree of my skill was the problem, not the cookie cutters. Great product for the more experienced baker, and still a good product for a beginnner.
