This book really touches the heart. It includes all views of adoption and has real stories from adopted children and there families. This book is a "must have" for anyone who has ever adopted, been adopted, will adopt, or has dreams to adopt one day.

I started reading this truly amazing book and I could not put it down until I finished. The personal experiences from all sides of adoption were so inspirational. I laughed, shed tears, and felt joy as I read the pages. Snowflakes: A Flurry of Adoption Stories is a must read. It expresses in words that families come in many forms and from many places, it is the love that binds them. Five stars are not enough - This book will enlighten and inpire you. Teresa, Katie, and Paul did a magnificent job of expressing all aspects of adoption. A heartfelt thanks to all that shared their experiences. This book is for all who appreciate the family unit and understand that all families are unique.

I purchased this book for my two daughters who we adopted from Russia. It is a wonderful book filled with stories from children and adults. My daughters looked forward to hearing the stories. A must buy for families with adopted children.

most of the entries read as if they were written by the kids themselves. a few seem like the parent(s) had an influence in what was said. but, all in all, a nice collection of entries from kids touched by the loss and the re-birth of adoption.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was great to hear the thoughts and opinions of the children themselves as well as the variety of adoption stories. There are stories of domestic foster/adopt, medically vulnerable infants, and overseas adoptions. Lots of helpful information, lots of laughs and giggles, some tears, but all in all a great book.

This book is a true treasure! Every page brought a smile, a tear, or a sense of recognition of some inherently human yearning. The entries are unpredictable and utterly authentic, giving voice to many different experiences in the adoption process. I'm neither an adoptive parent nor an adoptee, but I read the book for its human interest. I think anyone with a penchant for the social sciences would find it compelling and readable. I also gave it as a gift to friends who've adopted three children from Russia as well as my sister, who is a foster parent.

Our story is in this book and I am so excited to receive the book, soon. I know Teresa put great care into writing this book.
