For 99 cents the books are entertaining, although this character plot is growing old. Since Peters seems to be cranking out books as fast as he can write, better attention should be paid to the editing. Sometimes words are skipped or misused, and on many occasions the character names have been mixed up. A character that was killed off in the last chapter will suddenly be talking to Jake Stone, then on the next page the character is back to who it should be. See about getting a new proof reader.

I managed to read the first 4 books in this series. Book 1 was pretty bad. I thought maybe the next one would be better. Not so. I finally gave up totally half way through Book 4. The whole series is exactly the same--female amazons beating up on insecure men. Same plot with different names on the characters. Same results. I would not recommend this book or any in the series to anyone. It was definitely not a Thriller.

These are good reads if you like Amazon type blonds with green eyes that body build. Lot of women fight scenes, but interesting. These are casual entertaining reading. There is nothing in these books which would provide life experience or moral to the story.

Repetitive and boring. Needs to have more interesting premises and story structure not just beat up everyone for the sake of violence. Could be better with development of more interesting characters and plot and violence only when needed.

In this book Jake is kidnapped and Snowflake doesn't know where he is. When she does find him he is badly beaten. There are many interesting twists and turns to the plot.

Snowflake was way too violent, the descriptions of the violence was way too much for me at times, I had to skip over a lot of it because of the graphic details.

A disappointment after reading two other Jake Stone thrillers. Very little dialogue about action and always what Snowflake or someone else was thinking.

Not my kind of book, but that is my fault, not the authors. I will not do the Jake Stones again, but for those that like this type of book, go for it..
