5.0 out of 5 stars Fun on the slopes, August 26, 2008

I only got to use these once before the season ended in the mid-atlantic, but they were a lot of fun! Much easier and more fun than regular skiing. Maintenance is key - you have to wax them and protect the edges from rust after use. Also, after getting out on the slopes the screws that hold the bindings to the skiboards became loose. Carry a multi-tool (screwdriver, allen wrench) with you so you can tighten/adjust the bindings as needed on the slopes. I had to stop 2-3 times throughout the day to tighten and adjust the bindings, but I suppose this is to be expected on the first time out. You might want to use some lock-tite on the screws as well to help them stay in place. The free bag was a nice addition, and is a great accessory to carry wax, tools, and small items like gloves.
