Service Manual (Snowmobile Service Manual, 11th Ed),
By A Customer
This review is from: Snowmobile: Service Manual (Snowmobile Service Manual) (Clymer Proseries) (Paperback)
I was dissapointed with this manual. The book was abbreviated way too much for a service manual and concentrated too much on information that was readily available. If you are into restoring older snowmobiles then this book cannot be a sole source. It must be companioned with other references on the repair of snowmobiles.

Snowmobile Service Manual, 11th Ed by PRIMEDIA aka Intertec,

I also was disappointed with this manual. No sleds newer then 1986 are covered in this book. I would stick with a Clymer manual specific to your model or better yet get the factory manual. This book misses important information in the condensed service data like torque specs, wear limits, and other significant engine information. If you only need to look up your plug type and gap or adjust the track then this is the book for you. I don't know why it's called ProSeries as it does not contain the information the Pro's need but more like owner's manual type information. Put this manual low on your list of things to get.

Snowmobile Service Manual- Some Observations,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Snowmobile: Service Manual (Snowmobile Service Manual) (Clymer Proseries) (Paperback)
This book has not received the best reviews from some other folks, who thought it should be more focused. If you are working on an old sled, this is a good source of information, in my opinion. The thing that is odd, is that there is no overall table of contents at the front. If you quickly look at it, you think that it just covers the engines and sleds in general. If you really look through it, you will see that there are sections on performance, track maintenance, torque converters,& skis. It is just that the information you need is scattered throughout the book.I have not seen any other manual which has all this information for so many old sled makes. It is a worthwhile manual to me, when I am working on old sleds.
