Large Universal Size Wool Infant Car Seat Cover Snugglewool baby car seat cover is lined with soft edge-stitched Merino wool fleece, with cut-outs for the seat belts and/or harness. The infant seat cover has an organic cotton flap to keep it in place. This large universal size fits most infant car seats. Keeps infants comfortable in an infant carseat no matter what the temperature. Washable wool pad absorbs perspiration in the summer and keeps child warm in the winter. The car seat cover is lined with soft wool fleece and has an organic cotton flap to hold it in place. The top part is 24" wide (19" wide at bottom) and is 35" in total length. The wool, from the Merino sheep in Australia and New Zealand, is sliver-knit to a polyester backing and processed to withstand gentle machine washing. Each pad looks and feels like a sheepskin clipped to a one inch length. Lambswool is a naturally disinfecting fiber so heat is not needed for disinfection. Lambswool resists the development of bacteria and dust mites. Made in the USA by Rittenhouse Industries, Minnesota.

I bought this lambie for my baby's carseat because I couldn't find the bowron lambie that i have for my other kids carseats. The bowron was very soft and nice.

This wool is the typical wool: itchy and not pliable. it might be cool and it might be warm but i think it feels awful and I'm very disappointed in it. I will be returning it. In fact, I didn't even unfold it from the package. Just pulling it out of the package was enough to tell me it was **not** what I had thought I was buying.

The pictures look great. it looks soft in the picture. NO it is **not**!!!!!!

For the same price as I paid for this thing, I can get one with postage included from New Zealand for $69 from <...>

UPDATE: it was explained to me that the Bowron Car seat cover is made from lambswool fleece while the lambswool she (the manufacturer) uses is cut to a one inch length. Thus the soft tip is gone.

I still returned it because it was not up to my expectations however, if that is all you've ever felt, then someone might think it was OK..and i felt it again before i sent it off and it probably would be OK if that is the first time you've ever felt a lambs wool.

As far as shopping and return experience, safe at home has been great and the manufacturer was great too. it arrived quickly and was well packed and the return is going smoothly

I just received this in the mail and like the first reviewer am highly disappointed. The wool is very abrasive. Also the backing is polyester. I viewed this product from a couple of different websites before purchasing it and not once did I read that the back was polyester. I was informed that I did not look close enough as I found that was true. Though, I did find myself annoyed that it was not stated in the description. Unfortunately it seems to be one of the only wool car seat covers on the market. I am trying to return it now. I'll try to update this to let you know how that goes. I am finding that my attempt to be satisfied with the product by washing it according to their directions will ultimately mean I used it and therefore will not be able to return it. We'll see. As an update to returning it: I was pleasantly surprised by the seller, Serendipity Shopper, on how well they handled my disappointment and truly bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. Ultimately, they took the product back. Thanks
