I absolutely love the Snuza Go. We chose this one over the regular snuza because of the ability to adjust the time of the alarm (15, 18, or 20 seconds) and because of the ability to replace the battery. Our son is at a higher risk for SIDS due to being born a bit early and being relatively low birth weight. These factors combined with the fact that he sleeps in multiple places (making an under-mattress monitor useless) made the snuza a great choice for us. We can use it whether he is sleeping in bed with us, in his crib, in his bouncy seat, or even in his carseat. Because it is so easy to use, even his grandparents can use it. I highly recommend this product!

*NOTE*
We used this until our son turned about 9 months old, at which time he became to squirmy. The Snuza simply would not stay on the diaper anymore at that point. Though we still recommend it to others, I was extremely disappointed with the battery life. It lasted nowhere near a year and, based off of local stores who sell it, this is a common problem that they often hear from their customers, as well.

Yes you do occasionally get a false alarm when the diaper is to loose or when baby moves around a lot and the connection is lost. That is what I thought happened one morning when my 4 month old son was sleeping in his bassinet beside my bed and the snuza alarm went off. I sat up and looked at my son and he was not breathing. I rubbed his chest still not breathing so I picked him up in a panic and when I did it shocked him enough to take a breath. I ended up taking him to the ER to be checked out (he was fine). Two days latter when I was holding him (he was a sleep) the alarm went off again. I looked down and he was not breathing, my husband and I rubbed him, lightly shook him and was about to start CPR when he gasped for a breath. We called 911 and went back to the ER for more test ( could not find a cause) he was then put on a medical apnea machine. With out the snuza my son would be dead. I would not have gotten to him in time. It is the most terrifying experience to see your child not breathing and I wish no one to ever have it happen to them.

We had the Angel care motion monitor and while I am so thankful for it's invention when it finally broke we found the Snuzza when looking to purchase another Angel care and decided to try it. It ROCKS! We had MANY false alarms when our Son went to far from the sensor pad , that is not an issue with the Snuzza. Whenever we went anywhere overnight we had to take a huge pack n play along with the whole under mattress sensor set up and it was a pain and babysitters always got confused. Once again that problem was eliminated with the Snuzza. I LOVE the freedom of being able to go anywhere. I always worried when my daughter or Son sleep on long car rides because they tend to bury their faces in the side of the car seat or slouch forward but I don't have to worry about it now. The Snuzza goes anywhere, is small and so easy to use. SIDS is VERY real and this will be the most important thing you will every buy to save your childs life. I highly recommend.

I wish I purchased the Snuza Go alot earlier than I did!!! Only downfall is (besides the price), I think the battery is now dying after just one month. However with the Snuza Go you can buy and replace your own battery which is what I'll be doing now. IMO, every baby should have this!

When I was pregnant I considered getting the angelcare sensor monitor and wanted something to give me peace of mind for when my baby was sleeping. I read the reviews and figured it might not work well when baby was big enough to start moving in crib because it would give false alarms. So silly me went into labor early than I thought and I never purchased anything afterall (not even a baby monitor) until much later. Fast forward four months (yes 4!) and I realized I really needed something since my baby who had always been placed to sleep on her back wanted to flip and sleep face down with her face half planted in the mattress and i was becoming a complete wreck worrying about her. Needless to say, I finally broke down and purchased a summer infant video monitor (for mostly naps) and the snuza go to use always when asleep. My little one is still sleeping with me (bedsharing with me alone- husband sleeps separately) at six months old because I'm not ready for her to sleep in crib at night, but getting the snuza go allows me to sleep more soundly and knowing that if she stops breathing for 15 secs (it can be set to 15, 18 or 20 secs I believe) I can be right there to help. Also, I'm no longer hystertically waking up in the middle of the night shaking her like I use to. I couldn't tell if she was breathing half the time, however now with the snuza, I know she's breathing otherwise it will beep like an alarm clock to alert me.

SIDE NOTE - Parents please know how to perform infant cpr.

It must touch the skin in exactly the right spots or it won't work right. It is not worth the money and I returned it.

I decided on the Snuza Go instead of the Halo because of the feature of giving you to different settings on when the alarm should go off after baby stops breathing...and if God forbid baby stops breathing, it's great that the Halo virbates to wake baby up, but I wouldn't know about it if baby woke up from it. If my baby stopped breathing for even 1 time in his life, I would want to know about it so I could monitor him more closely and bring it up to his doctor, you know what I mean?

I started using the it as soon as my son's belly botton stump fell off, and it's been working wonderfully for 8 months, giving us great peace of minds. I definitely recommend it to any new parents. It's really easy to use, even the programming that some people find bothersome, it is not an issue as long as you read the instruction carefully. Baby is not crazy about it though. He noticed it when he was 6 months old and he tried to pull it off, but it really didn't bother him otherwise.

I gave it 4 stars because it actually quited working after 8 months. At first we thought it was the battery, but it wouldn't turn on even after puting in a new battery. With the dead battery in it, it would make beeping sound willy nilly on its own. I called the contact info provided on Snuza website, but no one responded. But Amazon replaced it without any problem. It was driving me crazy the couple days we didn't have it. I can't tell you how many times I checked on him while he was sleeping.
