5.0 out of 5 stars OH MY GAWD, February 18, 2005
By M. Rogers "Busta" (Southern Indiana, USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This cd is the most amazing cd I've ever heard. This band is so tight in their playing and their recordings..the songs are written so well..and they just have an awesome sound. Though most people haven't heard of them...THEY ARE MISSING OUT. I honestly would take this as my one cd I could take on a desert island. If that's not proof enough for you to buy this cd..you are out of your mind!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow. This is actually great!, February 16, 2004
This isn't your typical mainstream band. Just listen to the guitars. They seem to carry a lot of emotion to it and make the songs very exciting. Every song is catchy and every musician has a chance to stand out, although sometimes the drumming could get a little repetitive and simplistic. The drummer creates very good drum fills, though, so he makes up for that. The bass guitarist really stands out in this album. You can actually hear what he does in every song.

This is also a very upbeat album with a lot of fun songs. The vocalist puts a lot of emotion in his singing and does a great job at it as well. Listen to Choke when he sings "Have you ever tried to scream under water?" He has very impressive vocal manipulative abilites. Very good background vocals, too. They add more punch to the songs.

Very good overall. Hopefully they won't start writing [bad] songs if they get popular...
