Outkast back to their roots, July 2, 2004

The 3rd single off "Stankonia", Outkast's multi-platinum release, "So Fresh, So Clean", was often shadowed by the chart sucess of their previous single, "Ms. Jackson". Not to say that "So Fresh, So Clean" is worse... I think Outkast went in the retro direction on this one, cuz it sounds like something off Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, their first album. The beat in this one is outstanding - very southern indeed. Big Boi takes most of the spotlight in this one though... Andre doesn't do much rapping in this one. Sleepy Brown sings the hook in this one, making this a very smooth, and ill track.
