AND SO I DID is a wonderfully written book! One of my favorite parts takes place in the second chapter when as a very young child sitting in a church pew behind a woman wearing a fox stole, she empathizes with the unfortunate fox.

This book is humorous, sad, happy, and insightful. So it is.

This is an amazing book full of trials, laughs, adventures, and struggles. This book is absolutely wonderful to read, and a real page turner. This book is so insightful into people's lives in Ireland, it makes me want to just get up and do some Irish jigs. This story is heartwarming to its core, and anyone interested in autobiographies or social histories will undoubtedly be enthralled with this magnificent piece of work. Five stars... and a high five to Mrs. Sheehan.

Pat Sheehan's book, "And So I Did" touched my heart with wit, sadness, and refreshing humor. The journey of struggles for her and her family while striving to adjust and adapt to life-changes, is both poignant and educational. I truly enjoyed it. Author, Becky Conrad. (Friend of Lizzy Rand)

Touching and very well written. One of those books that you wish would never end. An amazing account of a young woman's coming of age in a turbulent place in a turbulent time.
