What a BOOK!, June 23, 2010
This review is from: So Much More Than Sexy (Paperback)
This book is for womena but it is a great read for men too.
I always believed that men would benefit greatly by reading books for women.
Mark Atteberry gets to the point and leaves no fairytale ending. He makes plain what mature men really look for and what they avoid but does it in a way where even people in denial will say, hmm...
My wife and I read "So Much More Than Sexy" together and really enjoyed it.
While reading through the chapters we ran across statements that we discussed. She asked me if I wrote the book and changed my name! LOL
When I was first shown this book by a friend, I looked at the ToC and was drawn immediately to the chapter, "Man Repellant". IMO, Mark knocks the ball otta-da-park!
Get the book, buy 2 and give one to a friend. This is a must have!
Its been a while since I gave my "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" review, and this book most certainly gets it.

So much more than just a book!, October 28, 2009
This review is from: So Much More Than Sexy (Paperback)
Ladies, sometimes we need a myth buster to wake us up and remind us that what we see on tv, in magazines and on billboards that we don't see in the mirror is not all its cracked up to be and not necessarily what guys want. This book does just that. Mark Atteberry sets out in this book to tell women what men really think and break those false ideas we have in our heads that can crush our self-esteem. This book is laid out well and broken into some great sections - the Girls Gone Mild section was one of my favorites while The Radioactive Woman section made me look in the mirror myself.
I think most women should read this book, while it should be required reading for high school and college girls. The point that Mark made that really hit home that we as women tend to forget or overlook is that basically what kind of guy are you trying to attract? Some guys want to see your midriff and cleavage and love those tight jeans you wear, but are those the guys that you really want to attract? The kind of guy that loves God and wants to find a woman to marry and love for the rest of his life will be attracted by modesty rather than skimpiness, he will find godliness sexy (or be attracted to it). Let's keep that in mind as we look in the mirror.
There are some real gems in this book and a lot of info that as women we just need to be reminded of sometimes. Great book!

So Much More Than Sexy, October 27, 2009
This review is from: So Much More Than Sexy (Paperback)
This is a very handy little book. One of the things I really appreciate about it is the fact that it is written by a man. It is refreshing to get a Christian man's take on what men really want. This book is very honest and very frank, but still sensitive to a woman's feelings. So Much More Than Sexy is a wonderful resource for both single women and married women. I especially liked the chapter called `Girls Gone Mild'. There is so much truth to what the author says.
I highly, highly recommend So Much More Than Sexy to women of all ages. I really appreciate the author's insights and I am thankful that he took the time to carefully write this book.
