Great! I loved it.
Alexandre Pires sings with other Brazilian famous singers as Caetano, Gilberto Gil,... his most popular songs in a great way. higly recommended for all those with "saudade" of Brazil and for those who enjoys Brazilian music and spirit.

So Pra Contariar is of my favorites music. At live is better. This a Excellent Item!!! I enjoy it the best live concert of So Pra Contrariar!!!! Has a great flavor. Hightly recommended!!!

this DVD (CD is also available) was one of the best selling music CD and DVD in brasil back in '02, '03.
american recognizes the significance of brasilian music and their influence on our jazz
but this influence comes from the tradition of bossa nova and samba.
unknown to many, brasilian music has great diversity, bossa nova and samba are just two of the many...
pagode is the kind of music most american listeners do not get to appreciate
this DVD, (also the CD) is a must for anyone who want to learn about or appreciate pagode (read: pa-gor-gee).
this dvd delivers the high level of musicianship and presentation that even jazz and classical music fan would appreciate.
