4.0 out of 5 stars Four short works, August 11, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: So Runs the World (Kindle Edition)
This is the first time I've read this author, and I like how he writes. The four pieces in this book are completely different from each other. First is an essay about Zola's writings, then a piece that is set up like a play but has only 2 characters, so it's more like a conversation between two ex-lovers. The third work is about a bet between Hermes and Apollo, and the last is a tragic play about 3 men competing for a woman. All are very well written and worth reading, though I skimmed most of the Zola essay.
