We were looking for a Barbie dollhouse for our daughters for Christmas and were worried about the "quality vs. expense" with the Barbie brand name dollhouse. We had read reviews online about it, and they were not good. I found this dollhouse on an Amazon search and took a chance. I was so impressed!! Not only was the dollhouse easy enough to assemble, it was BEAUTIFUL and very sturdy. It is WOODEN, not plastic or pressboard. Even the heads of the SCREWS were painted colors to match the wood so when they are inserted they blend in. EXCELLENT purchase. The furniture that is included is basic, and solid wood. This may be the best dollhouse I have seen, and the price, even when adding the shipping, was WELL worth it.

I reseached doll houses for over a week before settling on this doll house. I bought it directly from Target because Amazon had no reviews prior to my Christmas purchase.

I am SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS!!! It is an AWESOME DOLL HOUSE and my 4 and 6 year old girls LOVE THIS HOUSE! This house is taller than my 4 year old when fully assembled, and it's big enough for Barbies and the accessories are sturdy and well constructed. The house itself was easy to put together, with easy to follow instructions. All we needed was a philips head screw driver, but it came with all of the nuts, bolts and screws and the hex wrench which was used the most.

It is made of wood and NOT particle board of card board. It is easy to move from room to room and we haven't had ANY PROBLEMS with anything coming apart or falling apart. THIS IS REALLY A GREAT BUY FOR THE PRICE. I can see this being a part of my girls play time ritual for a very long time. SANTA MOMMY DID GOOD THIS YEAR!!!

This is a really good buy and definitely worth the money. YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG!!! 5+ STARS!!!

I'd been looking for a dollhouse for my little girl for quite some time. I read several reviews of many dollhouses. I found this one in the store and was able to see it in person as they had it on display. Another benefit, it was on sale. The reviews for this particular dollhouse were great and I felt the price was reasonable. So, I finally decided to purchase it. I'm glad I did. My little girl was very excited when we brought it home and put it together. It went together quickly and to my surprise was very easy to assemble. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, although we had to alter some of them to make some of the pieces fit without breaking them. The quality of this dollhouse wasn't exactly what I expected, but it is much better than the plastic ones in my opinion. I anticipate many hours of creative play and I would definitely recommend it to others.

This doll house is great and our 5 year old daughter loves it. It is huge and it's really simple compared to a number of the other houses we looked at. Here were the draw backs it was pretty difficult to put together and we tried the KidKraft 1-800 phone number on December 23rd and they were closed through the 29th. Not much help if you have questions or problems with the product. The bed that came with the doll house was broken- we had to use wood glue to put it back together. And one of the walls didn't fit together and we had to work for about 30 minutes to finally get it to fit together. Our daughter loves it- but I'll think twice about purchasing another KidKraft product.

We purchased this for our two girls. I put it together myself, very easy. Seems sturdy. Our girls will love the size. I wish I had purchased the accessories when they were in stock.

First thing I have to say is that my 5 years old daughter loves her Dollhouse. I like the fact that it is made mostly of wood however a couple of the pre-drilled holes where not drilled straight thus the screws did not line up. I had to drill out the holes so that everything would line up, not a big deal for me but for someone that doesn't have a drill on hand this would have been a problem.

ok, i got this dollhouse for my little girl (3 yo) for xmas. when it arrived i took all the pieces out and put it together ... all by myself. that in itself is a miracle b/c i am terrible with directions etc. it is the cutest dollhouse and appears to be very sturdy. kids could use regular "doll house dolls" or barbies with this one. its big enough. overall i would say... easy to put together, extrememly cute , and big enough to be played with forever, or until shes not interested. terrific purchase, very pleased. even older girls would love this one.

My daughters (3 and 5 1/2) love this dollhouse. It is sturdy and too cute! We put it together in no time, and the girls have played with it a lot.

My 7 year old daughter loves her dollhouse. It is very cute. The only problem was part of the wood frame broke while building it while putting a screw in with an electric screwdriver. We just gorilla glued it back together and you could never tell.

We ordered this dollhouse for our 5 year old for Christmas. It is such a beautiful, well-made dollhouse. It was very easy to assemble and it is definitely big enough for Barbie sized dolls. She is going to be in 7th Heaven Christmas morning. This dollhouse should hold up for years judging by the solid construction. It is made of real wood, not pressboard and the furnishings are solid too. Certainly a smart purchase!
