About the Author

Jordan Sales was born on August 17, 1982 in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. Ever since he was a youngster he had always dreamed of being a famous model or actor. He always told parents, teachers and classmates that someday he was going to be famous. He even went to the trouble of singing every book in his school that he could get his hands on because he knew that they would be worth something.

He has now had much modeling and acting experience and has learned from many top agents and scouts in the business. He wanted to know what they wanted to see. So he would constantly ask them until he had heard all of the answers several times. Sales says "This is the only way to get signed. You have to know what they want to see."

He is signed with an acting agency and is on the verge of signing his second modeling contract. He is currently more interested in teaching others what he has learned. He has very unique and effective ways of teaching how to become a model that will work for anyone. His methods are very basic and simple yet extremely effective. Sales main goal is to assist in unlocking the hidden potential within anyone who dreams of being a model and helping make that dream a reality.

WHAT IS A MODEL?

First of all the main purpose of a model is to sell something. It can be clothes, jewelry, cars...ext. When most people think of models, the first thing that comes to mind is a bunch of skinny girls walking on a runway, some big strong rugged stud or an absolutely flawless girl on the cover of their favorite magazine. This is what most people think modeling is all about, but that is actually a tiny, tiny part of the modeling business.

Lets get one thing straight. You don't have to be beautiful, sexy, handsome or skinny to be a highly paid model. If you are one of those, then that is good too, because there is work for you in fields that focus on those looks. Also you may not think that you are one of those, but with a little hair styling, make up and exercising you may find that little old you is in one of those categories. So if you are not one of those then don't worry. There is more work out there for you than you can imagine. All sorts of different companies need different shapes and sizes of models. Some may need balding and middle aged men or preppy computer nerds while another may need just an average looking guy/girl or a heavier plus size model. There is plenty of work out there for every type of model and most of the time you can be molded into whatever looks are needed. The most commonly sought after model is the "just average" looking model because they can easily be changed from one look to another. Versatility is very important.

Honestly, lets face it; some people are more "sexy" or "hot" than others in the worlds eyes, but modeling is a skill that can be learned by anyone. It actually has very little to do with your appearance. Modeling is about 90% mental and 10% physical.
