Too general to be useful, April 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: So You're Going Overseas: Employee Workbook (Paperback)
I was disappointed by this book. Its contents are either too general, like lists of what to take care of before leaving, or none too insightful comments about the process of culture shock.
May be appropriate for someone who has never experienced other cultures, but otherwise probably too simple.

A great companion to the So You're Going Overseas Handbook, February 28, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: So You're Going Overseas: Employee Workbook (Paperback)
This workbook is a great companion to the So You're Going Overseas Handbook. The Handbook teaches principles and concepts and the workbook helped bring those ideas to life. When moving overseas, especially for the first time, this book can serve as a great aid in helping one work through the logistics of the move and the adjustments after arrival. It made an enormous task manageable and I will it use again and again for each new international assignment.
