This review is from: Soapmaking Making Transparent and MNatural Liquid Soaps (Paperback)
I have tried over and over to make liquid soaps, but without success until I found this book. This explains the hows and whys of making liquid soap. It's not the easiest thing to do, but if you mess up, you can troubleshoot and hopefully fix your soap using this book. I wish I had tried this first. It's an inexpensive investment that could have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I got this book and tried to make liquid soap several times. I am really good at bar soap, but even with this book that explained so much, my liquid soap was good at best -- never fantastic. Plus, I almost fried myself with an electric mixer while mixing a batch of soap. The soap I did make didn't lather the way I had hoped so I just finally gave up after wasting lots of time and material.

This book had no melt and pour receipes. Since that was what I was looking for, I was disappointed.
If you are into cold process, it seems to be a helpful with good photos and clear instructions. |
