Mendilow has a sensitive style with sharp attention to detail. He manages to weave together a complex tapestry composed of many styles, and the result is a powerful, focused and moving piece of art. Reminds me of the breadth and integrity of Simon's Graceland album. Check Guy's music out - this artist is here to stay!

The best thing about Guy's music is the obvious love and passion that moves him to make it. Having heard Guy play live many times, this album was my first chance to hear the sculpted, streamlined product of a very different process; just as potent and true to his personality. The overtone singing rocks my world!
