Transcendant aural epic, November 10, 1998

Hossein Alizadeh displays his abilities as a master composer of Persain music. Although most of the text on the CD is written in Farsi, you don't need to know what it says to enjoy the music. A whole host of various instruments (including a nice kamancheh solo) as well as voice is employed on this CD. It gives you that meandering in the desert, headswimming kind of feel. It has the kind of intensity that can only be matched by a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan record.

I love it. It is music with heart and soul from classical Persia. For everyone with a heart for music.
