Does what it's supposed to...,
By The box this came in was smashed up some, and stuff was falling out, but nothing is fragile or breakable, and everything was still included. I chalk it up to a bumpy ride with the delivery service. when you pull everything out, it's a little confusing, like the other reviewer said, but not horrible. You do need to tie different knots to string everything together, which for me was nice as it gave me a little flexibility for how I wanted to do things. The instructions could be better...it's just a bunch of pictures with less than helpful lines of instruction. You have to string The net together with the white cord, and they tell you to tie it off after you place the ball in the net. I opted to tie a slip knot (kind of like a cowboy lasso) so I could still get my ball out easily. I also tied the end of the white string to the bungee, as opposed to creating a loop as the directions suggest. (That will make sense when you look at the directions.) This gave me some additional length to work with, so I could shoot further from the goal. The system works as advertised. It simply lets you take more shots on goal, since you're not having to chase down every ball you miss. The cord does hinder any dribbling before you shoot, as you can step on the cord when you plant your foot, so you'll be shooting/ passing from a static position mostly. I think the ground stake is probably the best way to use this system. Trying to shorten up the line to use the hand grip or the belt is kind of a hastle. As a point of reference, I can't use the belt, and I'm a size 34 waist.

I bought this device for my 10 year old daughter. She is developing new skills. This device is great in helping. She is learning how to do drop kicks as a goalie plus she is able to practice her hard kicks without worries of kicking the ball over into the neighbors yard.

This review is from: SoccerEdge Bungee Soccer Trainer (Toy)
I recently bought Socceredge as a gift. I also bought a Wilson soccer ball to go along with it. I like that you can use it year round because of the different ways to attach the bungee cord. I've seen enough youth soccer games to know that they need to practice regularly and this allows you to do that without having to rely on a second person to kick the ball back to you. This is a cool idea.
