There is no substitute for experience. The author stresses the importance of practicing the basics in order to create a strong foundation on which to build. This Soccer Coach brings the experience of having coached so many championship winning teams that they are too numerous to mention. I was amazed when looking him up on Wikipedia. Through his many successes he has proven his mantra that the potential for excellence can best be achieved through dedication and commitment to practicing the fundamentals. An amazingly simple book to follow for any coach or player who has a serious interest in furthering his knowledge of what the author calls, 'The King of Games'.
