I defy anyone to read this book and look at the US health care system the same way. The statistics on health care disparities is eye-opening and disturbing. We especially look bad when compared to other developed industrial market nations. Highly recommended.

If you are looking to go into the public health sector, this is a must read. Brings up a lot of good points in the social inequalities that we face as a nation. Reading level is college but manageable and not a daunting read by any means.

Social Injustice and Public Health is a great source of information for Public Health students. It has an easy to read layout, interesting facts and data and wonderful examples.

A good primary text for health care providers in graduate-level programs.

Textbooks are becoming increasingly expensive at a time when the economy is at its worst. This seller, together with Amazon, has provided a service at a more reasonable price. I would recommend this course of action to all students.
