Used this book for Introduction to *and* Advanced Social Psychology at LSU. Loved the way the information was presented: excellent examples and written unlike any other textbok. The author refers to personal experiences as well as general examples to clarify the material. The topics were fascinating. There are also many optional tangent stories in each chapter expanding on a particular topic.
It helped a lot that I had a professor who loved what he did. I still own this book after graduating LSU, and I still love to flip through it "just because." Dr. Prestholdt ("Dr. P") rocks!

I am a first year counselling student & I found this book very thorough, using interesting case studies & applications.Well laid out, not a boring tome, user friendly.Especially around exam time!
