5.0 out of 5 stars Very Helpful, February 16, 2011
This review is from: Social Story - Getting Angry and Sharing (Paperback)
My Son LOVES these books he reads them again and again and again (By far an improvement over that horrible purple dinosaur books. This is a group of books that you can read to the child or the child can read by himself (If he can) it teaches in an easy to understand and not aversive way very important life and social skills, the illustrations are great as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Now I get it. Getting Angry Social Story, February 26, 2010
This review is from: Social Story - Getting Angry and Sharing (Paperback)
This Very simple social story clearly illustrates with both pictures and words the complex situations children face every day. For children with delays it is a must have! All children can benefit from this story, but it is so beneficial to children who have difficulties understanding the daily social nuances. It brings these situations to a very basic level that the child can understand. Where was this ten years ago?Social Story - Getting Angry and Sharing

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't be happier, September 15, 2009
This review is from: Social Story - Getting Angry and Sharing (Paperback)
Every young kid should have this book. My kids love it. It's cute. It's simple. It explains just how a kid should behave, in simple language, in a way they understand. I don't hear myself constantly saying "You have to share" anymore. And believe me - that's a very agood thing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Social Story - Getting Angry and Sharing, June 20, 2010
This review is from: Social Story - Getting Angry and Sharing (Paperback)
I like the social stories because the clear illustrations and simple wording are effective in teaching special-needs children who otherwise may not have the opportunity to learn these concepts in their daily environment.

I love this series of books! They are phenomenal! This book teaches young kids to share and cooperate with each other. I like the story on ways to express anger too. It gives socially appropriate ways of dealing with anger. As always, the illustrations are great and appropriate, the language is easy for the kids to understand and relate to. Self control is hard for any child, but much more challenging for children on the autism spectrum. I'm very pleased with this item.

Definitely a thumbs up. It's really hard for kids to learn how to control their anger and behave appropriately in stressful situations. Simple, easy to understand and nicely laid out. I really like the content.

You can't go wrong with this book. I mean what kid doesn't struggle with getting angry and learning how to share? The words are simple and I love the drawings. Some of them really make me laugh. My kids love this book. Worth getting in my opinion.
