Review
"Love it. The flexibility, real-world approach, and honesty in presentation are admirable qualities… This manuscript provides tested experiential activities in a way that brings the content to life, is interesting and provocative, and deals with issues that other workbooks seems to avoid, i.e., budgeting, writing in social work settings, dealing with supervision, diversity, etc."
"This text is a useful compilation of exercises and activities teaching community, organization, and policy practice and fills a very real gap in textbook offerings in macro social work practice. Strengths are the focus on active learning, arrangement of exercises from easier to more challenging and a useful summary introduction to each of the fields of practice that provides a context for the subsequent activities."
