About the Author
Courttia Newland is the twenty-five-year-old author of THE SCHOLAR. He has also contributed to various anthologies including DISCO 2000, NEW WRITERS 8, AFROBEAT and TEENAGE KICKS. Film rights to THE SCHOLAR have been optioned and he is working on the screenplay.

This is an excellent book. It tells you what really goes on in certain parts of London and reminds me of the estate that i used to live on. You won't want to put this book down until its finished, and when it is, you'll be looking out for other books by this author (Courttia Newland) like myself and so many of my friends have done already.
