5.0 out of 5 stars Alexander Supertramp probably would have loved this soundtrack, April 27, 2008

This review is from: Society (MP3 Download)
Society is my new favorite song of this millenium. I want them to play it at my funeral. The chorus' lyric- "Society/ You're a crazy breed / I hope you're not lonely/ without me" would go particularly well in that setting, I think. Which is not to say the song is depressing exactly, the song is up tempo and catchy, but sarcastic, which is lovely in this case. Smartest lyrics ever. If you've seen the movie or heard the song and have any affinity for word play you probably noticed the first line "Well It's a mystery to me, we have a greed, with which we have agreed." brilliant and just thrown out like it's nothing. most of the soundtrack is like that, very nicely fitting for the subject matter. If you're happy with the way the world is right now, then you might not find this sort of movie or soundtrack appealing, but then why would you have bothered reading this review all the way to the end?
