A best bang for the buck,comprehensive overview of discharges career.
80 songs on 3 cds,including songs from all of their records,including a couple from GRAVE NEW WORLD,which can otherwise be found on used vinyl,and some songs from the audio of the forthcoming DVD.I'd really stick to buying DECONTROL-THE SINGLES + HEAR NOTHING.. +DISCHARGE 2001s self titled album.More money,I know,but essential discography for the true fan.This box is cheap but might prevent the purchase of essential albums.ONLY FOR CASUAL LISTENERS.NOT A TRUE ANTHOLOGY !!!!!

Discharge is a rather good band but I liked their early stuff (everything on the first disc.) better than anything else on this box set. the 2nd disc has a lot of the LP stuff (Hear nothing See Nothing Say Nothing, Grave new world, Massacre Divine, etc.) and some of that is okay but I know you may be turned down from the Hair metalish songs. the 3rd disc has some 2004 updated songs and a bunch of live material (I Personally don't care for live material except if it has exclusive songs for that album like Conflict's Turning rebellion into money because it has songs that were from Crass and so forth) get this if you are really lazy to get every album by discharge.

Like another reviewer said if you are REALLY interesed in Discharge go like this: (don't buy this box, you'll thank me later)

1. Decontrol: The Singles (every single track is amazing and not everyone is in this box)

2. Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing (mind blowin record BUT is not here in is entirely. In fact, 2 KEY songs are missing (Q: and children and The End are not here)

3. Discharge (the album): Great Comeback record with the classic line-up. Easy to find, look carefully.

You Those 3 cds Now there you have a preety good discography from Discharge, and i mean real Discharge. This box adds some songs from Grave New World (disgusting) and Massacre Divine and Shooting Up the World. The last 2 are kinda good but (like singer from G.b.h. said) that's not really Discharge. I mean is like and out-of-focus dicharge. Download some songs and you'll see.

If you really want to buy this box for "the box" itself (but i tell you, it is kinda cheap and not really cool) buy it but after those 3 albums i mentioned before. The live tracks in this box will be released in a live album soon. Wait.. Dont buy this product for those.
