This book is very well-written and informative, promotes critical thinking, has a very high visual impact, and is by far the most interesting and impressive sociology book I have ever seen.

Product is quite used, with significant wear on the edges; however, it is easily in sufficient shape to use, which is what I bought it for. It cost me $2-3, whereas I could have paid $55 or more. Its not "falling apart" by any means. I'm happy with the purchase.

well the book is the book so if you need it get it. the class however one of the best classes ive ever had very enjoyable.

This is a great text book and very contemporary in its presentation, i own it and it is worth every penny, your excitement will soar to new heights as you explore the many facets of our society.

While all the kids in my class were complaining they had paid hundreds of dollars for their school books, I sighed relief inside. I paid approximately 25% of what my fellow students paid for a book that was not only new, but shipped and received during the first week of class. I would gladly buy from again for my next 3 years of school.

I was forced to buy this book for a class that never used it. The price was a lot cheaper than the bookstore, so it was a good deal.
