I've had my Sock-eez now for 2 or 3 weeks. It took me a little while to get the hang of it. Once I did, I absolultely love this thing! Having the Butler(Donner) and this Sock-eez(Doffer) are brilliant! Compression socks are a major pain to get on and off without some sort of aid device. These were, both, my first choices. When I viewed the videos for each device, I knew right away, this one is for me. I had the Butler(Donner) several months when I started to think to myself, [Someone needs to design something to assist in getting these socks off]. I did a Google search and after reading reviews on the Doffer made by the company I got the Butler from, I didn't feel that one was the right choice for me. Then I ran across this Sock-eez via Amazon.com here and looked for a demonstration video. Found that and I knew this was the correct choice for me. And the rest, as they say, is history. :)

I am a woman who has had problems with edema, and I need to wear compression hose at all times. My situation is complicated by the fact that I have severe diabetic neuropathy, and I cannot reach my feet and lower legs to put on or remove the hose. I have a wonderful aid to help get the stockings on, but taking them off has been extremely difficult for me, even using a "dressing stick." The Sock-eez had solved the problem beautifully, and I am able to take the socks off easily now. I recommend this product very highly indeed, with NO reservations.

Being invalid I was hoping this would help me get my compression socks off each night. It only rolls my socks to my ankles where they pinch off the circulation to my feet. I live alone and have to wait until the next day with my feet swollen. This is the only product I have purchased from amazon that does not work.

This might work better on a tall person....I am short and and old. It takes a lot of strength to push the compression sock down and I don't have much strength anymore. This contraption doesn't help me at all.

My 98 years old father has been using the sock-eez for about a year. - I have purchased other sock removal aids which have prongs but my father had difficulty using them. My father likes it so much I bought another Sock-eez. because at times he would misplace it - I put hooks next to his bed and hang them both - its so easy the sock-eez come with a strap. The sock-eez has allowed my father to have more independence.

A useful device. Glad I have it,for sure!
You need to "work with it" in order to get it right and have it be comfortable, but it is ok!

It makes removing compression socks VERY easy. Though it is very well made of hefty plastic--I cannot envision it breaking--I deducted one-star because it is pricey, albeit not prohibitively so.
