There really isn't a lot to say about this product. You plug it into the card slot on the top of a Pocket PC, install the cab file, and it scans bar-codes for you.

It does so reliably. I've had some of these for several years, and they are still working. The price has come down significantly on these since I first bought them, making it an even better value.

The only drawback is that very occasionally the driver will get locked up, and you have to restart the Pocket PC to straighten it out. This happens pretty rarely in my experience.

It will scan just about any size bar-code, down so some very small ones that surprised me when it got them.

The configuration software lets you set up macros, such as having the driver insert a carriage return into the data stream so that your software automatically moves on to the next field on your screen, if you so desire. You use the Pocket PC button configuration to set which PPC button will fire the scanner, which also adds to its convenience.

These are good for ordering and inventory applications, particularly.
