I just wanted to make sure that potential purchasers understand that this product is eye drops, not the ointment.

It is the generic form of the Muro 128 eye drops, which cost about twice as much. I use these drops and find that they work very well.

If you need this type of product, I recommend you try it. I will be purchasing more since I am unable to find the eye drops in my local drug stores.

I am so happy to be able to get this sodium chloride solution for half the price of the name brands. I would never have even known there was a generic of this product if my eye doctor hadn't told me. The local drug stores don't carry it, and they act like they don't know there is such a thing. I believe it is better than the name brands because it is less irritating to my eyes. I got very fast service too.

These drops are good for their intended purpose--reducing corneal edema. Typically I have to use these in the mornings to improve my vision after sleeping. The only reason I didn't give them a "5" is because they burn, but that's because of the salt content--and that's exactly why the product works. But, still, it would be nice if the burn could be avoided. However, the short period of discomfort is worth the improved vision.

Local eye surgeon recommended I use a name brand product for corneal dystrophy (not as a cure but to help slow the progression and ease the discomfort). The name brand product sells for three to four times the price of the product rated and, when ingredients are compared, is the same as the 5% solution purchased. As a plus, ordering is quick and convenient and delivery has been prompt.

This product is a lot less expensive than Muro128, as it should be. Both are salty water with a preservative. Why buy the Muro version when you can get this for ~50% less? The Muro bottle is a easier to squeeze, but most people won't care.

Was recommended by my eye doctor. The name brand is at least twice the price at the drug store, and this is exactly the same. Works great for corneal edema.

I have to use these drops twice a day and if you purchase the Muro 128, their cost is more than twice as much. These drops are just as good as the name brand. The only complaint, the merchant shipping charges are a little expensive. But I will continue to buy through Amazon.

This product is ok but not as good as the original by Muro. It is much thicker and leaves a sticky residue for much too long.
