DON'T BUY IT,

Not worth the money...any money. First, material is not furniture grade....not even clothing grade. I covered mine with LEAK PROOF mattress pad and large throw (for now). Second, sticks 3' into room,not 20some inches as implied...platform sticks out behind couch so you cannot put it against wall if you want to use as sofa. If I wasn't responsible for shipping to and from, it would have gone back - even before box was opened - because there was a hole in box showing what the material was. Surprised box even got to me it had so much added tape and holes all over.

This is without a doubt the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever bought. I bought this with the intention to use it for guests visiting, you can't even SIT on it for more than 45 minutes much less lie down on it. Right in the center (where there is a hinge) there is little to NO padding at all so your basically sitting on bare wood ..and when lying down its right were your main pressure point would be at your hip.... I read reviews and I'm not picky at all..people get on here and whine to where I'm like wow..what babies...and I get the products anyway and I love them...so if your mindset is like mine this futon is STILL a bad buy..I took it apart and stored it away and whet and got something else..
