Great beginner gun,
This review is from: Soft Air DPMS A17 AEG (Sports)
This was my second aeg (after a crap m4 style one that broke in a week). I found this gun to be EXTREMELY reliable. I played in games where I was up against much higher quality guns and this one was able to compete. I highly recommend this gun for beginners and those who want a reliable gun for occasional play. I've been using it for about a year and am just now having slight problems with it.
Pros: Amazing breakdown feature for a cheaper gun (push 2 pins out and top receiver comes off) Effective hop-up Good mag capacity Good rate of fire Decent accuracy Lots of rails Easy to repair and tinker with Cons: Plastic gearbox (you get what you pay for) Not easy to find compatible mags Slightly fragile Even with these cons, I'd highly recommend this gun. I still love it, even though I've moved well on from needing it.

Pros: Hop Up Acurate Very Strong Battery Holds For a Good 3-5 Hours Comes With a Red Dot ABS plastic very strong plastic Cons: If u charge the battery over 5 hours the battery is worthless Plastic Gearbox Well its 80 bucks so

Well it is a decent AEG not as good as some of the More professional ones, but still in the realm of competing with them (Not very effectively but it is possible)
I have owned this gun for about a year and still have not had any major problems (Yes I still have backyard battles every few weeks to warm up for large battles) Pros High cap magazine holds 400 rounds a pretty good amount for backyard play (still a little over kill) Decent rate of fire (for backyard play where everyone else has crossmans from wall mart its a slaughter) Decent FPS (300FPS) batteries lasts a while Cons Only a decent rate of fire (well its only $80 bucks) plastic gearbox kind of bad accuracy but still usable pretty good gun over all unless you want go to a Major air soft battle than this is not worth it
