4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for a starter or backup gun
This gun is very nice for a mini electric. With the exception of the purely cosmetic clip near the rear of the stock that can get in the way of optimum arm placement in some conditions, the ergonomics are excellent. The handle will fit comfortably into large and small hands alike. Unfortunately, the position of the slide-down safety on the left side of the gun makes it...

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it, just don't. Save for something better.
This airsoft SMG is downright God-Awfull.
The Fire rate is about one shot every half second.
The gun is gravity-fed, so you can't look up or down at any angle because it won't shoot.
The accuracy is terrible, the bullets curve right out of the barrel, and they curve in any direction.
All in all, DO NOT BUY THIS GUN. It's not worth the frustration...

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for a starter or backup gun, July 28, 2006
This gun is very nice for a mini electric. With the exception of the purely cosmetic clip near the rear of the stock that can get in the way of optimum arm placement in some conditions, the ergonomics are excellent. The handle will fit comfortably into large and small hands alike. Unfortunately, the position of the slide-down safety on the left side of the gun makes it impractical to use in the left hand, this gun is designed to be fired by the right hand, sorry southpaws. Its light weight makes it easy to use with one hand and the flip-down handle on the front and the bullpup design allow the wielder to steady it against the shoulder and with both hands when necessary. The false scope magazine will actually hold 160-170 rounds, and features a small set of open sights on top. However, when the gun is held to the shoulder, these sights are too close to easily focus on, so the user is forced to simply sight along the top of the scope. In order to use the sights, the user must hold the gun out in front of them. Since this gun uses a hopper instead of a spring-loaded clip, there is no guarantee that this gun will fire a BB every time it cycles, especially as the hopper empties and the BBs have more room to bounce around. Also, the feed system works best when the gun is level, DO NOT rely on this gun when an inclined shot is desired. This gun will fire approximately 200-250 rounds per minute, depending on how well the BBs feed. This gun makes a good starter gun for beginners, but in advanced matches, it is advisable to keep this weapon in reserve, using it to lay down large quantities of suppressive fire against close-range opponents. The gun's small size is well suited to carrying in a field pack, or a strap can be secured around the narrower portion of the stock to facilitate belt or shoulder hanging. Additionally, this gun has excellent battery life, and is not picky when it comes to BB quality; in the rare event of a jam, the gun can be easily cleared by simply continuing to fire, the gun will clear its barrel within a second or two. I have never had to stop firing and manually clear the barrel. Finally, the scope hopper has ridges on the sides that can be used to mount certain accessories.

In a nutshell (so to speak):

PROS:
-Light
-Comfortable
-Durable
-Good battery life
-Good ammunition capacity
-Easy to load
-Accessory rail
-Small
-Not picky; will use cheap BBs with minimal jams
-Clears jams automatically
-Flip-down handle and bullpup stock makes gun easy to steady

CONS:
-Only fires reliably when level
-Mock clip in back can get in the way occasionally
-Not ambidextrous
-Sights are small, and not very effective
-Will not always fire every cycle
-Relatively low power
-Relatively short effective range

AWESOME GUN! But do not use it in battle unless you are in super super super super super close range. I shot myself in the leg from a few feet away and it left a welt. This gun has some bite but mainly it's a fun gun for just being crazy. It's a "run around screaming firing gun into air" kinda gun.

5/5 Buy it? YES!!!!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Soft Air Defender Of World Peace Mini SMG Electric Powered Airsoft Submachine Gun (Clear) (Sports)
This gun was my first gun and i loved it but that was before i started trying better ones. Overall, i reccomend this gun to anyone who has plenty of clear red crossman pellets (this gun only compatible with certian pellets. I tried other ones, but they dont pwn like crossman's.) If you want this gun, get it at walmart for cheaper. I like the ammo capacity, but the gun shoots like 3 at a time or doesnt shoot at all, but that was before i noticed that i had the wrong pellets. This guns best use is for CLOSE COMBAT ONLY.

i love this air soft gun it works great and is a lot of fun to shoot. some bad things are it curves at about 10 feet and the fake clip gets in the way. but it holds like 80 rounds and shoots wonderfully. i would recommend this to people who are not pro airsofters but to people who just want a fun gun to mess around with

Okay this gun looks awesome and shoots awesome! Great in battles pelt the other kids like they are 5.(maybe they are!) it is kind of noisy and sucks up your bluets pretty fast but you can do what ever you want with this thing (will never break)

1.0 out of 5 stars do not buy, March 28, 2011
This review is from: Soft Air Defender Of World Peace Mini SMG Electric Powered Airsoft Submachine Gun (Clear) (Sports)
There is no good things about this gun. I bought 2 thinking they were going to be all that but after a week I gave them away because they were so bad. There are sights but if you shoulder the weapon they are impossible to use. Even if your could see them it would not madder because the bullets to these guns go everywhere but your target. The fire rate is not good. If you are thinking about buying this gun think again. If $20 is your budget your best hope is to get a pistol such as the Desert Eagle. All in all there are 0 pro's to this gun but endless cons.

DO NOT BUY!

1.0 out of 5 stars CHEAP , UNRELIABLE, EASY TO BREAK!=(, December 31, 2010
This review is from: Soft Air Defender Of World Peace Mini SMG Electric Powered Airsoft Submachine Gun (Clear) (Sports)
This gun is a piece of cheap crap (made in china with easy to break plastic) if you go to a war with this gun you will get pulverized if you are a beginner look some where else this thing jams up, has low fps and eats up AA batteries like a hummer eats up gas.The safe is not safe. This gun is also not for lefty shooters.

I bought this gun a few month's ago and i'm making a review on it. It is a terrible gun and way over priced
if this gun was 5$ or less it would be worth it but its to costly and bad
cons
eats up AA batteries really fast
doesn't shoot farther than ten feet
to expensive
jams alot

other than scaring your friends as a harmless prank i would not waste money on this gun for 20$ you could get bb's, a target, or a for ten dollars more a pretty nice
g36c that i might buy and review
